International Chaplaincy Associate Degree (ICA100) - 108 credits
This degree consists of a total of 108 university credit hours. Upon completing the two courses (Chaplaincy Module 1 and Chaplaincy Module 2), students will receive a diploma as a Chaplain Minister, along with recognition in International Chaplaincy, preparing them for a career in this field.
This Associate Degree offers a solid, comprehensive education focused on International Chaplaincy, equipping students with the credentials necessary to excel in their careers.
The following courses are required to obtain this degree:
Chaplaincy Module 1 (CHAP101) - 36 credits
This course offers an accelerated approach without compromising academic quality. It consists of 36 credits (3 per unit) at the associate degree level, encompassing a comprehensive curriculum that includes theological foundations, principles of chaplaincy, ministerial ethics, and essential practical skills. After approving this module, the student will receive accreditation as "Chaplain Minister" along with a diploma and photo ID with the chaplain number properly registered at the state level (valid for a year).
Chaplaincy Module 2 (CHAP102) - 72 credits
This course focuses on International Chaplaincy, addressing complex yet fundamental spiritual and human needs in topics relevant to today’s society. Students will learn to apply spiritual truths to address difficult questions about God, society, the spirit, mind, and other related subjects. The program consists of 72 credits (6 per unit) at the associate degree level. Upon successful completion, students will earn an Associate Degree in Chaplaincy and meet the requirements to continue their career in chaplaincy.
